Sorry! I don’t have that much experience with home sewing machines. I used mine (which I got from K mart for like 40 bucks) for a year prior to college and I didn’t really like it. It was slow plus you can’t really sew thick fabrics. I love my industrial sewing machine though (JUKI DDL -5500N) and I don’t think it’s that expensive.
